PR2: A robot that can fold towels
I hope none of you think something of me, but I am married since I left, my wife, with a lot of laundry. I think it's years since I fold it all. I never really liked the folding machine, and always have one of the “necessary evils of life looked at.”
Fortunately, this robot can I have it for me. After it is completely natural. I'm sure you've probably seen the video and I thought this guy was a little slow on the draw, and I can not help but agree.
However, there is a small step for robot kind PR2 (will not be confused with another robot R2 in its number) is capable of rectangular objects such as towels, much of chance and fold gently pulled out heap.
The PR2 is an experimental robot from Pieter Abbeel, and it takes a certain amount of space to work. He will probably need to increase the speed above all you own in the apartment. But Mark 100 percent in his studies, so maybe hotels could use the PR2 for folding towels.
Of course we all know where technology is headed PR2: an era where robots do all the laundry folded for us. Then we can all see again how we are doing laundry, when we look back on the laundry done with washboards.
