LOLA walking robot knows where she / he is

Remember that robot called AILA that we reported earlier? It was with a woman who has managed to keep things white. Well, this is not the only robot in Germany, here is Lola.

LOLA is a humanoid robot that presented by the Technical University of Munich and the Institute of Technology Autonomous Systems in Munich.

I have a video of it after the jump, and if the pace may be slow, she will be able to 5 km per hour thereafter. The bonus is that Lola can run independently of each other, and who knows how to recognize objects and avoid them. The aim of the project, LOLA is a two-legged robot that can move like a human.

Even if it does not look human. LOLA is 1.8 meters high and weighs around 60 kilograms. It has 25 joints in his body, and can by a pair of double-megapixel camera 5 see.

Lola reminds me of a Sci-Fi called some Saturn-third of the film was in a huge robot named Hector, and he eventually became a murderer. I probably should not put in place this last part.

In the meantime, I'll just end it with LO-LA! Lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-la! Lo-lo-lo-lo Lola. Yeah, it's too easy to make a joke.
