Centaurus 2 Solar Car Project
I really had no idea that it is a race for cars with solar energy, but apparently it is a 2010 American Solar Challenge, a 1,100 mile race from Tulsa to Chicago.
The solar car is one of the competitors. It is directed by the team Solar Vehicle Project at the University of Minnesota, and identified the two Centaurus.
You will notice that the driver of that vehicle, and I can not say if he (I guess it is a he) is turned on or not. It could be just the angle of the shot, but it is a little eccentric. It looks like the vehicle has three wheels, though.
My source has to say to me that this car about 3 feet high, 16 meters long and 6 meters wide. He weighs 400 pounds, what is right, a car compared to light.
You will notice that the solar cells. I think it's interesting that they seem to decorate, only half of the vehicle. I do not know if this is part of the design, or perhaps the solar car is not yet complete.
Too bad that solar cells, which are printed on paper that we reported yesterday may be used. Too bad that someone can not invent a color, like a solar cell, if you work a shift it to wear.
