Berlin Brain Computer Interface allows you to play pinball with your mind

This is a funny way to play pinball, do not you think? Should not be that man stands in front of the machine? And what is wired with that shower cap?

That's probably what I said when I was at the CeBIT 2010 and adopted by this representation of the Berlin Brain-Computer Interface. As it turns out that this man is the pinball game with his brain. I'm not saying it is really the head in the game, but the head is to play the game.

You can see a video of the installation of this person in action after the jump. I really have no idea whether this man is a part of CeBIT visitors, or someone who works for the company, but you can watch them put in place to play pinball on this topic Addams Family pinball. Yes, I have a different theme, but not many Finns, make it interesting.

Unfortunately, there is no real explanation of how it works on video, with absolutely no narrative voice. I have no idea if you're thinking: “Left Flipper, Flipper get” right to know that it works. I note that the user manually set the ball rolling, and I think the mental transformation is not an option.

I think we are probably looking at an age when arcade games make a comeback, and the players are moves in thought. The offer to control or a version of this spirit. I think this could be the next draft of Natal.
