Tropicana creates an artificial sun
Never seen the movie Insomnia? In the film, Al Pacino investigates a murder in a city in Alaska, but he is never at night. As it happens, it happens during the time when he was six months day.
I always wondered if the film would have worrying when it had happened during the six months of night. I think doing Christopher Nolan, director of the film had, the dark Batman Begins, to discuss the date of insomnia. I hope I never live in a night which lasted six months.
I mention this because it was a city Inuvik in perpetual night, until Tropicana arrived in the city. The company posted a huge orange helium balloon, with about 100,000 lumens, an artificial sun. You can watch the video after the jump.
And then they walked down the orange juice and filmed a commercial. Surely it is rather a lame excuse to see your product to Inuvik game, but a good excuse to see if it was really an artificial sun to a city shrouded in darkness to light.
At least the sun Tropicana is more constructive than that of Icarus, the artificial sun / big fricking laser in Die Another Day.
