OLED technology enables glass to see in the dark

A week ago I was about how some of OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diodes) technology could transform an ordinary pane of glass in a display called T-OLED spoken. Today I want about how OLEDs could speak ordinary glass in a night-vision screen in turn.

This technology comes in two DARPA and the University of Florida. There is a new material in seven layers of the OLEDs, get the opportunity to “enthusiastic” are aware of the infrared light, is based. Once the light through these layers, they are by the next layer, that which formerly darkness turns to light increased.

Sounds very cool, right? Too bad the only example of this technique is that they have a square centimeter. I guess you have to squint hard to see on the image of the photo.

I'm also guessing that would make the best use of this technology on eyeglasses, is windshields, windows, and anywhere else where you see in the dark required. I am sure this technology is far from cheap, just like the aforementioned T-OLED.

Well, if there is only one way to combine technology with the OLED-T-Tech Night Vision. It would certainly see something straight. I swear, is the future now at the thought of this bright.
