Alphie and Gets Upgrade
Some of you may remember Alphie, a toy of the 80 previously announced by Joan Lunden. (Be glad that I could find, sweet a video ad on YouTube, or if you know the meaning of death by kindness!)
Alphie was a toy that uses index cards and buttons to teach math, colors, and other basic skills. I think if would be the dog who has the right question, the clown's face light up Alphie.
It seems that Alphie receive an update, but a face less colorful. Now he has an LCD to eyes and can do much more expression than ever before.
I'm not sure what would happen if your child gets the right answer. Maybe my eyes will be happier. Even if your eyes on an LCD, then you should put your mouth on the screen.
Oh, Alphie knows about, but I do not think it is programmable. He still has to plug instead of software upgrades and keep the keys. At least they are round and more button-like.
This appears on the Hasbro Toy Fair booth, but it will not be available until the autumn at a price of $ 39.99. Alphie has 30 double sided file with more than 350 questions and challenges.
